I received this potting bench as a Mother's day gift. When my husband went to put it together (directions were vague) he got all the way to the last step of putting the top shelf on and he realized something was very wrong. The shelf would not attach the way the holes were cut. He thought he did something wrong so he took it apart and tried several different ways to configure it but none could be correct except for the original one. We came to the conclusion that it had to be a manufacturers defect. [...]I do wish they had left some spaces between the slats on the work surface to let the soil fall through but the entire top does come out for easy cleaning. All in all it is a great product. I don't know yet how it will hold up to the weather but I think it will be OK.

The potting bench I purchased from you is good to look at, cleans off easily, and it is the perfect height for me to work without bending over. I bought sealed containers for the bottom shelf for storing what I don't want to get wet, and it is easy to slide in and out of the shelf.
This was a good purchase for me.
